Hello & Welcome
I strive to create a supportive, safe and collaborative environment where we can work together to help you reach your goals.
Regan Rodriguez
M.A., Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
I encourage change by using a client-centered, strengths-based approach where I help clients identify their strengths & resilience, and offer alternate perspectives. I help my clients establish and maintain healthy boundaries, and overcome anxiety, stress and burnout. I strive to foster respect for each of my clients and their unique beliefs and values systems. I believe that my clients are the experts of their own lives & my role as the therapist is a gentle guide. I utilize Solution Focused Therapy, Somatic Experiencing (body first) practices, and Parts Work (IFS).
My focus areas are working with tweens (10+), teens & adults. I speak angsty/anxious teen fluently! I enjoy working with artsy/creative clients, high-performance athletes, pregnant/postpartum clients, high-conflict couples and relationships & anyone else who often struggles with taking on too much due to feelings of perfectionism/people-pleasing. I also enjoy helping clients heal negative body image & childhood trauma.

Ice Breakers
-
Caramel latte (iced or hot, weather depending) add an extra espresso shot if I’m tired.
-
A good solo hike in the mountains! Or just stay home and watch reality TV or a cheesy romantic drama that my husband would hate.
-
I’ve traveled to France, England, Spain, Italy, Ireland & Switzerland. Italy has been my favorite! I love visiting small towns away from tourist destinations and really getting to experience other cultures.

For me it’s focusing on my breathing and slowing myself down. Oftentimes my mind starts going a mile a minute thinking about so many “what ifs”. Refocusing myself on what’s going on right in the moment is so helpful for me.
